Rogues are very skilled with stealth and lockpicking and are actually pretty well rounded. They also have the potential to do a lot of damage in the first round of combat, however the longer they fight the more dangerous it is for them due to their health.

Welcome to Adventuring 101: Rogue-Like
This exercise will run you through the basics of Adventuring for Rogues and what you can expect from them. You will do this by going through our CAVE OF TRIALS.

Let us start our Rogue Adventure then.
As you reach the mouth of the cave you hear a few murmurs on the inside and notice humanoid figures. What do you do?

This is the first encounter how hard can it be?

While Walking through this hidden path you see an amulet that you know to be a AMULET OF HEALTH. This Amulet will give you + 5 Health

[[Continue|Continue into cave]] As you continue into the cave you see three doors in front of you. The first on the left is red, the one in the middle is blue and last one on the right is yellow. After a second of observing the doors a voice rings through out the room.
"Hail, adventurer I ask you to heed my riddle..."

[[Cover your ears, riddles suck]]You covered your ears for some reason. To be a jerk I guess. As you uncover them you hear the Voice saying "... Now I hope you choose wisely and listened well as I will not repeat the riddle and if you get it wrong you will fail"

[[Yellow|Fail]]"My Riddle's purpose is to prove that, as a rogue, you are able to be somewhat clever as well as be able to pick locks. If you try to just open any of them you will fail."
"The riddle is as follows:
Pick the door withe the color that can combine with the color of the other two doors to make either green or purple."
You think too yourself that the riddle isn't very good. You are right.

You Pick the lock on the door and you twist the doorknob...

[[Continue|Fail]] The moment you twist the door knob you began to feel sick and are transported out of the cave.
After your eyes adjust to the bright light outside you see a paper on your lap that says: [[Try again?|Adventuring 101: Rogue like]]As you enter this room you instantly feel a wave of heat assault you. When your eyes adjust to the welting heat you see a metal cable suspended over a 10ft long pit of boiling lava.
A bit much for a training cave you think.

After your eyes adjust to the bright light outside you see a paper on your lap that says: [[Try again?|Adventuring 101: Rogue like]]You feel pretty good about making it this far and are full of DETERMINATION. You now have a CHECKPOINT. As you turn to the door you notice that it says: FINAL ROOM .
Welp here we go

You charge in to see a hulking Ogre staring right at you. This is going to be difficult.
But maybe you can pull it off... and even if you can't well at least you have a checkpoint.

As the Ogre weakens you take the opportunity to Finish him. You cut at the tendons on his ankels and force him to kneel. Once down you rush for his eyes and plunge your daggers in them. The Ogre, still alive, begins blindly flailing in an attempt to knock you way.
But you are too quick.
And as the Ogre gives you one more opening you remove the daggers from it's eyes and bury them in his throat.
The Flailing subsides.
And the Ogre turns to dust.
